The Challenge

Crispy Green makes freeze-dried fruit snacks — a bright, fun brand with a loyal customer base in a competitive US market. When they came to us in 2023 via a client referral, the situation was urgent.

  • Their previous agency had done little meaningful work despite significant fees
  • When the relationship ended, the agency restricted access to the website and hosting — locking out multiple company users
  • The existing WordPress site was difficult to manage, slow, and not built for e-commerce growth
  • Online sales were sitting around $80-90K per year — well below the brand's potential
  • No proper analytics tracking was in place, making it impossible to understand customer behaviour

Fortunately, one admin account had been overlooked. That's all we needed.

Our Solution

Website Recovery

We moved quickly. Using the remaining admin access, we exported the full website database and deployed a working copy on our own servers — keeping the business online while we planned the long-term solution.

Shopify Migration

The WordPress setup wasn't fit for purpose. We migrated Crispy Green to Shopify, using GraphQL and the Shopify API to transfer everything — products, collections, customer records, historic order data, media assets. Nothing was left behind.

E-Commerce Redesign

The new site was built around three priorities: easy to browse, easy to search, easy to check out. The design reflects Crispy Green's brand personality — bright, fun, and approachable — while the navigation and content structure were reworked to match how their customers actually shop.

SEO & Paid Advertising

We established a long-term SEO and Google Ads strategy focused on competitive keywords in the freeze-dried fruit snack space. The content and technical foundations laid during the redesign gave us a strong platform to build organic visibility alongside paid campaigns.
